  • Accessibility Details:

The Choco-Story Brussels museum is partly friendly for adults/kids with special needs. It is recommended to book your visit in advance and inform the museum staff of your specific needs.

There are no elevators at the Choco-Story Brussels museum. The “stair lift” platform system that can help people with reduced mobility to access some parts of the museum, is currently out of order, so the last two rooms of the museum and the demonstration with the chocolate maker are not accessible to people in wheelchairs.

The rest of the museum remains accessible. The museum is also equipped for manual wheelchairs only and not for electric ones. For more information, please visit https://choco-story-brussels.be/en or https://www.brusselsmuseums.be/en/museums/choco-story-brussels.

  • DESCRIPTION:

    Choco-Story Brussels Museum

Learn how the Mayas and the Aztecs grew cocoa trees, how the cocoa bean conquered Europe and how cocoa is made into chocolate. Every day you can watch Choco-Story Brussels' chocolate-maker at work right in front of you. He will explain and show you the secrets of the art of making the famous hand-made Belgian pralines.

Demonstrations are made continuously all day long during the museum's opening hours. At the end of each demonstration you will be able to taste one of the creations of the master chocolate-maker at the Choco-Story Brussels museum. Tasting chocolate is of course a part of the tour and there is a shop for those of you who want more!
