FESTA JUNINA: A Brazilian Traditional June Celebration

The June party (Festa Junina) of the Group of Brazilian Women in Belgium is coming!

We are very excited, as it will be a fun time with live music from the Terra Brasil group, games, typical food and Folcloric Quadrilha dancing!

Festa Junina is a traditional Brazilian festival that takes place in June and July. It celebrates the harvest season and honors some of the most popular Catholic saints, such as Saint Anthony, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Peter. Festa Junina is a colorful and lively event that features costumes, dances, games, foods, and drinks inspired by the rural culture of Brazil.
