The park is open to the public every day, according to the following schedule:
In Schaerbeek, the Gaucheret was intended from an urban point of view as a mixed district to be reborn around a park. The latter therefore now has a social role to play: to become a meeting place between the former inhabitants of the district and the newcomers (of different nationalities and social origins), a space of conviviality where the link is rewoven social.
The fun fountain
With its permanent water bottom, its jets of varying heights and its misters. The playful fountain, in summer, is the real attraction of the Gaucheret space, a sort of open-air public swimming pool.
The multifunctional tile
A vast concrete space, the slab offers its smooth and flat structure to a multitude of leisure activities: football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, rollerblading, concerts and other more occasional events.
More specifically intended for 5-8 year olds, the large playground is installed in a sandy and open area. Classic equipment (roundabout, slide, swings), but with a "fun" and contemporary design.
The second, older, includes on a poured rubber floor, two springs, a roundabout and a small slide. Open to 3-7 year olds, it is delimited by small walls which serve as both a fence and benches.
