PROVINCIAL DOMAIN of HELECINE

Ideally located, half way between Brussels and Liège, in Walloon Brabant, the 18th-century neoclassical château offers you a top-rate infrastructure for your business events and receptions in an extraordinary setting nestled in a lush green landscape.

The Château, converted into a reception venue and seminar centre, can host up to 1,500 guests.

The staterooms, the sumptuous Dôme room, the brand new Orangerie, and the Ecurie, the Annexe and the Theatre make for an ideal context for holding receptions and corporate events.

The Château’s 28-hectare park is the perfect setting for product presentations, team building, family days and other events.

With Walloon Brabant Council, the Château’s owner, as driving force, a new hotel and catering team has been set up to support you and guide you in organising your events, with spaces that have been redefined and equipped with the latest technology, to offer you the best package for all organisational requirements.

DOMAIN ACTIVITIES

• The Park: Walk along the path that runs past the three fishing ponds. Explore the magnificent landscape that opens in front of you and the geese, ducks and swans that accompany you throughout your walk.   A little path takes us towards the goat pen. A little further on, the deer and their little ones are resting beneath the shelter of the trees. Not the slightest noise is to be heard….From time to time fishing rods dance to animate the backdrop. At the end of the walk, the playground and landscaped mini-golf await you for a chance to unwind with the family. Right next-door, you can have a drink on the terrace of the Pop Up Bar.

• THE PLAYGROUND: The 5000 m² playground has 2 zones, one for 3 to 5 year olds and one for 6 to 12 year olds. The playground is free.

• Mini-golf: Come and enjoy our 19-hole landscaped mini-golf course in its splendid planted setting, its variety of flowers and plants, its ashes and its hop pergola to protect you and its channels embellished with water lilies. There you will find, among other things, a bunker containing three holes. The course is very pleasing and a lot of fun and requires a little skill here and there but children are welcome to have a go.

• FISHING: Three leisure ponds are accessible to fishing enthusiasts who have a phishing license (no.1 for trout, no.2 for whitefish and no.3 for carp).
