      Provincial Domain of Bergelen

      The provincial domain of Bergelen offers a varied landscape. All roads are accessible to walkers and a special connecting road has been constructed for PRM between the Bergelenput and the domain farm cafeteria.

      The cycle route network has a passage through Bergelen and the Zilveren Spoor equestrian route also crosses the domain. Part of the pond is reserved for anglers (fishing permit from the Flemish Region required) and bird watchers will find an observation hut and two walls. A part of the forest next to the cafeteria has been designated as a play forest.

       

      PARKING

      1. Parking Hemelhofweg : This car park is not suitable for buses: it is best to park at Parking Poezelhoek.
      2. Parking Poezelhoek : along the mountain bike route
      3. Parking at NEC De Rand  : along Rijksweg

      Parking Hemelhofweg is not accessible due to road and sewerage works on Hemelhofweg and Bergelen.
      Only use parking Poezelhoek.

      From May 9 to the end of October 2023, the Hondschotestraat will also be closed for works.
