There is always something going on in the Children’s Museum! In this educational environment, you won’t find computers nor video games. Stage settings and scenery, wooden toys, workshops are some examples of the different means the Museum has put in place to help children in the discovery of the world that surrounds them, as well as themselves.

Every exhibition is an exclusive creation of our team and changes every 4 years. During its elaboration, the Museum benefits from the guidance of various external specialists in different educational work fields.

The Children’s five senses are constantly stimulated: they touch, look, smell, listen and learn while having fun. Exhibits and activities are designed for children aged 6 to 12 and their caregivers.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the Children’s Museum cafeteria.

OPENING HOURS

For Families, during School Period

• • Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday: 14:30 to 17:00

For Families, during School Vacations

• • Monday to Friday: 14:30 to 17:00 (except holidays)

Closing days:

• • All Belgian national holidays
  • December 24th and 31st, Easter Sunday

For Schools and Groups

Access to the exhibition + participation in 2 workshops

LOCATION & PARKING

Children's Museum is located at Rue du Bourgmestre 15, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium

The Children's Museum does not have a parking lot. There is free parking available on streets surrounding the Children’s Museum.

ACCESSIBILITY

Wheelchairs and strollers can reach every area in the Children’s Museum. But Stroller is NOT Recommended.

The Museum has an elevator, a baby changing table and a bottle heater for babies.

• Reservation NOT required for families
• Reservations are mandatory for groups, schools and special events, with or without guide.
