Provincial Domain of Hofstade

Hofstade is a mecca for outdoor sports enthusiasts with its hiking trails, running courses, mountain bike and cycling routes in the nature reserve. You can also find a running track, a skate street and a BMX track that can be used free of charge.

In Sport Vlaanderen Hofstade you can also challenge your fear of heights on the high ropes course with 5 routes and 69 climbing elements.

But if you want to relax there is a 650 meter long beach zone, with 2 playgrounds for the little ones and a beach bar-restaurant.

Access to the Domain is free of charge, however if you want to access the beach or do the high ropes, you should book your ticket.

BEACH

• €5,00/person +3 years old
• Buying tickets in advance online is obligatory. You can buy your tickets for the beach online here.
• Make sure you book the Zone 1, Orange, with the playground!

HIGH ROPES PARKOUR

Opening hours during opening days February - March:

• Wednesday: 14:00-16:00
• Saturday: 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00

Opening hours during opening days April to October:

• Wednesday: 14:00-16:00
• Saturday: 10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00 and 15:30-17:30
• Sunday: 10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00 and 15:30-17:30

Opening hours during opening days November:

• Wednesday: 14:00-16:00
• Saturday: 10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00

These days and times only apply if there is a sufficient number of participants.

The high ropes parkour is closed in December and January.

If you visit the domain or the beach, it is best to drive to:

Are you coming for the sports stay or the high ropes:

Parking rate: €6,00 ??per day - pay at the terminals available over the domain or directly at the barriers of the exits (pay on exit).
